Bang Bang!!!

Hmm….interesting title for post. What was your first thought? Before we head further lets clear it out as it is not about ‘The Big Bang Theory’ nor is it about the movie ‘Bang Bang’, sorry to disappoint all the Hrithik & Katrina fans 😉

Instead, it is all about hairstyle to ace the over all look.

Hair is the crowing glory of a women. Treat your tresses and they will surely enhance your appearance. Bangs or fringes add a little detail to the haircut making it distinct & gorgeous. Bangs frame your face!!! Faux or real- they are complete hair goals…

From Rihanna sporting fringes for the 2017 Met Gala to Selena Gomez at Coach’s New York Fashion Week show 2018 and so many other celebrities it’s all over. There are so many variations to it, thus, it’s safe to say there is a style suitable to each and you just can’t fall short of options irrespective of different face cut & different hair texture& length. A little maintenance of your tresses can actually help achieve the look desired! To explore a few basic bang/fringe styles lets head further-

  1. Classic Side-Swept Bangs  –Suitable for broad forehead, adds grace-the bangs falls slant on either side of the forehead with a deep side part your hair usually covering the eyebrow and tucked behind the ear. Whether you sport open hair or braid it out, the side swept bang goes well with all.

2. Staple Thick-Blunt BangsThe most basic style in bangs, easy to maintain. Goes well with short or long hair, tied back in pony or open. This demands least of attention/styling product to maintain all day long, covering the entire forehead and ends just above the eyebrow.

3. Charismatic Curtain BangsIf you have thick & super sleek lock and a broad forehead, this variation is for you. Parted right down the middle- the bangs falls towards the ears on both sides. This style kind of highlights your cheek bones and jaw line, more fun-casual style. Suitable for triangular shape face.

4. Spellbind Spiral BangsBangs go well with curly hair texture as well even the look can be achieved with the help of styling tools if you have straight hair, just add little spirals to the front-mid section of hair and you are set to go. If you have a fuller face try this out, as this sort of adds a sleek/sculpted look to the face, falling on one side or both. This a textured variation to the bang…super chic!!!

5. Modest Short BangsCall it a short bang or micro fringe, this bang style goes well with short hair usually a pixie crop or bob cut and doesn’t cover the eyebrow- roughly an inch or two above it. It demands lesser maintenance and is carefree & stylish.

    1. Oh…that’s good.
I remember, when I was young I had blunt bangs- that’s what my mom decided for me and barber executed. Now when I look at those pics- I just freak out!

I’ve always thought it’d be so annoying to have bangs, all over my eyes.. which I’ve decscribed on my blog. Have a good day!
