Beauty in Simplicity

When life has so much to deal with complexities and juggle between it’s choices that are like codes that needs to be de-coded and at every stage there is so much to manage & it’s ever so unseen consequences. There comes a stage where we all seek pleasure in things that are more simple and pure in it’s form be it feelings, people we deal with or just any other prospect.

Of all the blessings and pleasure of life, the most natural and unadulterated forms are always cherished by all. That is the essence of simplicity- something that feels pure like smile of a child, bond between child and parents, having a few but reliable friends instead of a big gang, the way we connect with GOD- all of it feels so divine.

Most of the times, it is us who unconsciously built this vicious web around ourselves that makes us feels so claustrophobic(over-thinking) and we lose track of our vision, our happiness and our choices- ultimately we are not able to catch up on all of it and it erodes of effectiveness. The best way to organise our life, our thoughts & most importantly our actions is to make wise choices (SIMPLE CHOICES). Whether it is our choice for profession, hobby, dressing, peers, partner or any other decision making, just don’t fall for the trap of doing something extra ordinary which turns out to be complicated and out of control, BE MINIMALIST. Trust me when you don’t have to carry the extra baggage of out performing- you actually set yourself a realistic goal and be a achiever there by. There is nothing wrong with being ambitious or a big time dreamer but you have to learn to draw boundaries this will give you a sense of control, life doesn’t offer you everything under one platter- have a simple approach towards life…..

Simplicity in life is being peaceful, happy, sophisticated and being attached to the core of truth.

“Complexity creates confusion, simplicity focus.”  – Edward De Bono (Author and Psychologist)

The best of all expression forms is to Keep It Simple!!!

BEWARE: Stop Manipulation

We all have been around it and probably faced the consequences from such malice- MANIPULATION. Manipulative people are those who disguise to be our well-wisher & make us trust that our interest is their interest and when we rely on this bond, have faith and pour our feelings/opinions they mostly fabricate what has been said by you and turn it around in their interest, distorting the facts as stated by you or often lying. This sometimes leaves us in splits, thinking how foolish we can be and it gets on to our nerves leaving us reckless. Such crisis can be faced at both- professional and personal front.

We mostly read news headlines which cause a stir, then there are further discussions over it that all of it is a false piece of news or has been shown in a different light which causes repulsion from people. Making the intentions of the stated fact weigh as negative and there is so much hype about it- YES, that’s one of the examples of manipulation….

Manipulative people make us believe that we are the cause of problem and can successfully shift the focus from their misdeed to you, leaving the burden on prey to clarify his say. Initially they seem to be our confidante but once their intentions are succeeded they leave you off-guard. So, safe-guard you self from such people around, try to identify them and maintain that required distance to avoid bumps ahead. Distinguish healthy influence from manipulation before it’s too late as prevention is better than cure.

  1. Manipulative people are great controllers, it is their opinions that matter to them. In a problematic situation they are the first ones to blame others and never take accountability of failure faced.
  2. They lack the sense of respect for other’s personal space (psychologically or physically), they just don’t understand the concept of boundary & are real intruders because they want to benefit from others whatever be the extent.
  3. A psychological/ human behaviour  pattern that will help you to differentiate between a genuine and manipulative person- Be watchful how the person talks about others to you (is it more about jealousy, disharmony& negativity), it is most likely they will project you the same way in front of others.

You reserve the right to protect yourself from such people and avoid being at the receiving end of such flak. Ones you have identified the situation, take control –

  • Be guilt-free, learn to say- NO. Don’t feel forced to do something out of obligation when you are actually not willing to.
  • Stand-up for your choices & opinions also be ready to face the consequences (success or failure) take it in your stride, remember you could be different from your group.
  • Learn to prioritize- identify the urgency and set tasks accordingly, to be clear in vision and avoid confusions from others.
  • Be confident- Make your own decisions, believe in yourself. Stay Happy!
  • Seek opportunities -Be flexible and adaptable in behaviour and have a drive within you to keep moving ahead.

“The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words”.  -Philip K. Dick

Philosophy through Photography

“Photography is a love affair with life”. -Burk Uzzle

It’s wonderful how strongly a picture conveys message to us even without pouring words itself. It is up-to an individual to express a million of thoughts that passes by through our mind just by a sight of it. Sharing a few pics that brought about such thoughts!!!

Thanks to nature and things around us, each of these adds value to our life philosophy….

“All the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow”  -Leo Tolstoy

“Life did not take over the world by combat, but by networking”  -Lynn Margulis
“Life is a full circle, widening until it joins the circle motions of the infinite”   -Anais Nin
“Time spent in self-reflection is never wasted- it is an intimate date with yourself”  -Paul TP Wong

May your day be filled with happiness, have a good day!!!

Embrace Changes

Embracing changes is vital to growth, being a better version of yourself. Many a time, changes are not accepted comfortably because we fear getting out of the cocoon- that we have been familiar with over a time & we have a natural tendency to stick to it and not try something that’s new to us. But, we should remember- One thing constant about life is that it keeps changing.

Photo by Samuel Zeller on Unsplash

It is better to sense the need of change and initiate that yourself  before it is imposed upon us due to time or situations. The benefit when we make a lead is that we don’t feel forced and can actually visualise possibilities/opportunities that are essential for growthdevelopment(the pivot to life). The moment we understand that allowing changes works for our benefit, we can make our life easier- so avoid being a repel as that is not a solution.

Make a conscious effort to look out for possibilities, it is much easier that being dragged through circumstances-BE PROACTIVE & SET THE RIGHT ATTITUDE . There are lots of new things and people out their in the world who await to enhance your life; you just need to take a little step ahead to grab these. A little initiative from your end will reap you a happy harvest. Doubts and uncertainties are inevitable but stay calm/relaxed and accept it as a learning. Stay focused and eventually all the events in life will make way for it and guide you towards you goals, everybody has a different journey so where ever you are, whatever you have just value them.

Value your journey of life and remember keep adapting for survival.

  • Take small steps at a time- set milestones, it’s easier to access course of action required so that proper utilisation of efforts can be achieved.
  • Remember there could be a few failed attempts and you would need to re-start from the basics but that should not hold you back, keep improvising. Learn to face risks to gain something big in life, make your mark.
  • Have realistic expectations- Outcome of any situation can be different as per our thinking but learn to be patient. Let things unfold at their pace & diligently manage and make it favourable for yourself to be successful.

“Your life does not get better by chance. It gets better by change” -Jim Rohn

Have A good day & lead a happy life!!!
