Happiness…

Thoughtful Hues

Happiness is more of an internal factor (emotional well-being), influenced mainly by our thoughts and will-power rather than the material objects/people we associate it with; such factor are responsible till an extent but sooner or later you realise it’s more about how you perceive it & let you sub-conscious mind govern you. The search for it can be vast but it starts from us….

Just like the Musk Deer that keeps wandering miles in the jungle in search of the persistent odour oblivious of the fact that the pleasant smell that it tries to chase is produced by/attached to itself.

So, look for no further and try to control your own happiness, after all it is as precious as the musk 😉 I read this line somewhere so sharing -‘Grow through what you go through‘.

Sadness

It is a feeling that we face at some time or the other in our life and it’s absolutely alright to pass through the face instead of fleeing this emotion but yes, we must try and pick our-self and not let it mess with our mind. Don’t think too much over it instead focus on  the positive thoughts as they go a long way.

It is all a part of trial, that helps you look through it and bounce back with full vigour. Don’t let this feeling dwell on for long and move on with hope and peace in mind. Let bygones be bygones and ‘Seize The Day‘. Replenish your inner self with positive affirmation that this too shall pass however tough the time maybe.

Nothing you ever experience goes futile, they are all a part of you to help you improve, grow, value and heal as compared to you previous self.  Remember till the time you resist- talk or think about it, the sadness will persist. So, stop over thinking and let go of the barrier of sadness. Build that attitude with which you can move ahead with panache and be ready to fight back…

“First, accept sadness. Realise that without losing, winning isn’t so great.”  -Alyssa Milano

“We must understand that sadness is an ocean, and sometimes we drown, while others days we are forced to swim.”  -R. M. Drake

A Good Force…

Behind every situation in our life, there are two kinds of forces working- the positive and negative and between these choices, the constantly struggling mind- there remains the major task of  following the vibes and to go ahead with it.

Be willing to :-

  • appreciate
  • acknowledge
  • show kindness
  • laugh
  • look for the silver lining- where ever possible
  • choose your company wisely- stress and happiness, both are contagious: surround yourself selectively

Always try to push yourself towards the positive force as the power of it  controls your mood and state of mind and also, try to rub-off the goodness to others surrounded by you as well.   Never let your mind and thoughts deplete of good vibes, this state of positivity can be achieved when you start believing that everything will work out favorably in the end. Positivity surely multiples and reaches many folds, you could be at the receiving end or the origination point for it. Let it flow in the sphere and feel the magic!!!

Anchor …

It is rightly said, ‘A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.’

When hit by storms of difficulty, indecisiveness, and failed attempts at achieving something. Trust your instincts and move forward with hope, also pursue consistent action towards achievement no matter how small a step appears, as this is the anchor which will help you navigate through the rough tide.

Learn To Unlearn

“Perfecting oneself  is as much unlearning as it is learning.”  -Edsger Dijkstra

Just like the ocean waves that touches the shore transfusing the energy and wipes out all the previous impression to make the new ones’ every time as per the tide. The surface on the shore looks calm and still but each time it is hit by the wave, it has the potential to withstand it and stay strong with a newer version and to absorb in the energy. The ebb and flow are part of it, they don’t destruct rather they are the forces to discover the unknown and form new horizon.

AND, so is Life…

Landscape called life..

Life is full of contrast just like nature’s landscape yet complete in it’s own way….When you look at the picture as a whole, you observe: it is full of peak and trough just like the mountain, flooded with thoughts that are often restrained by doubts just like the flowing water which finds it’s stream no matter how rocky the way be. When we face difficulty, motivation all drained it feels scorching like the sun rays while on other occasions it’s luminescent just like moon….

All this together sums up life, remember to put your heart and soul into everything you do!!!

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”  -Mae West

Relations…

Our relationships are like the yarns made from different fibres like love, care and trust all piled together to built it. It can thus be both- our source of strength to withstand the tough situations or can be knotted and twisted making it all the more vulnerable….

Add Value-To Life & Self

Hi All,

Once again, Happy New Year…

Self-improvement is a continuous process, where we need to work upon our self on a daily basis. It brings upon betterment and helps us satisfy our inner self and as a whole brings us closer to our goals in life, be it- certain accomplishments in our studies/workplace, our health& lifestyle or our relations and beyond the stated.

The crux of life lies in the truth that it goes on and we have to learn and adapt accordingly with the objective of betterment.

And, it is never to late to realise and start over again, everyday counts…Self-improvement is an on- going process. Take smaller steps at a time but the initiative should go on, it brings about a sense of joy and contentment along with the passion to aim for more  and achieve something new & explore.

Let’s remind our self some simple steps to work our way towards self-improvement:

  1. Try Something New– We all have a certain set of hobbies, they are our best bet to channelise our spare time and unwind but beyond the obvious; try and look for new prospective and take an attempt or two. It could sound crazy but it is only until you give it a try coz it’s thereafter you would no the unknown and it can work for you 😉
  2. Relax and Breathe-Try to add this in everyday life, first thing in morning- step out and let the fresh air rejuvenate you, away from distractions but if it’s difficult to catch up on all this time in morning coz of work commitments. Once you are off from office walk you way back in near by locality/neighbourhood and witness other kids play, pets running around; sometimes it’s fun!!!
  3. Seek Opinions– Well of course from people you bond well with, those who know you and are your comfort group. This surely helps you take things in your stride and focus them as a scope for improvement rather than  being negative about it.
  4. Accept difficulty as a part of learning– Remember, to reap the harvest- there will be times when you experience obstacles, rejections and delay; things going differently as you planned but that necessarily doesn’t mean they end up wrong or futile, So don’t give up and stay consistent.
  5. Allow yourself a break– Even best of machinery need to be put to rest, so as to deliver appropriately. So, get out of the mad rush and do nothing at all and restore all your energy and good vibes to start over again as and when required. Be the boss and decide for your self.

Art of Appreciation

To feel happy, stay happy- develop an ‘Attitude of Gratitude’!!!

It’s that time of the year when everything exudes contentment, joy and satisfaction- with Thanksgiving just happening  and the locale all prepped with celebrations ahead for Christmas & New Year. This time gives us a sense of the ‘precious time gone by’- look down the lane(months that passed by, all the happenings) and for prospects ahead of us!

Simply, a lovely phase to count on all our blessings and feel the magic; which also reminds us to be thankful….

Admist all the chaos; be it our unorganised home, deadlines to catch up at work, a prolonged commitment to meet somebody, bills and maintenance to take care of. There are still somethings that over-weigh these petty issues and make life worth it, to cherish each moment and strike back with full vigour.

Constantly remind yourself of all the good things that you have to rely upon- be it family, friends, health, a good cup of coffee you had this morning, your pet, the favourite dine in of your’s that elevates your mood on the weekends, the cozy corner of your house that awaits you- your domain. Life is beautiful- it’s summation of all this little things that make it memorable….

Go easy, unwind and there shall prevail a sense of utmost pleasure from smaller things in life which are your cause to rejoice. Everyday holds something good for us- you just need to be observant; it could be an achievement or a challenge which helps you improve either way it is for betterment.

To all my readers- ‘Have A lovely day.’
